The College's graduate community of more than 200 students is notable for its diversity and cosmopolitan atmosphere. Some students are Selwyn graduates, but many come from other British universities and more than one third from overseas.
We guarantee a room in College for three years to PhD students and a room for the duration of their course to one year students. Graduate rooms are located in College and in a number of student houses very close to the College.
Bowman Scholarship
Selwyn College offers the Bowman Scholarship each year. It is intended to assist with the fees and maintenance of a former member of Nottingham High School studying for an advanced degree at the University of Cambridge or a BA degree as an affiliated student. It is only tenable for Selwyn College. For further details please see Bowman_Scholarship.pdf
Hamilton Cambridge International Scholarship
Selwyn College and the Cambridge Trusts occasionally offer a Hamilton Cambridge International Scholarship. The scholarship is for a non-EU PhD student in any subject, and will cover University and College fees plus an annual stipend for three years. Applicants should specify Selwyn as their preferred College on the University of Cambridge application form, and indicate that they are applying for the Hamilton Scholarship. The next award will be made in 2014.
