Wednesday 17th April
Restaurant Twenty-Two is the debut restaurant of partners Sam Carter and Alex Olivier.
The restaurant occupies a quaint Victorian heritage house, with stained glass windows nestled into its brickwork that date back to 1892. Located in an historic corner of Cambridge, just off the River Cam on Jesus Green, the restaurant is in the perfect location for a leisurely lunch after a stroll (or punt!) along the river.
By night, its atmospheric candlelit dining rooms offer a special space to enjoy inventive yet fulfilling food for all occasions.
Sam’s menu is inspired by his many years working at Michelin level at some of the country’s top restaurants (Hambleton Hall and Maze by Gordon Ramsay to name only two). But the real inspiration comes from the ingredients delivered each day. We use the best local suppliers and present a weekly changing menu that reflects the most seasonal produce the area has to offer.
