Schools Liaison Officer: Chloe Cupid
Chloe was an undergraduate at the University of St Andrews, having attended state schools in London. She has since worked in the education sector as a teacher in Hong Kong and Japan and in the field of admissions.
She is responsible for building and maintaining relationships with schools and colleges, and encouraging students from different backgrounds to consider applying to Selwyn, or more generally to university. In doing so, Chloe is committed to offering open and transparent insight into the application process and ensure that students are well-informed about their options. She seeks to ensure that all students feel they can aspire to university whatever their socio-economic or educational background.
She works with students from all year groups (including primary school age) and runs events that focus on the benefits of Higher Education and raising aspirations to attend a top institution such as Cambridge. Chloe co-ordinates the Selwyn Summer Schools, delivers presentations and workshops in visits to schools and colleges in Selwyn’s Link Areas, organises and manages school visits to Cambridge as well as attending a range of other events such as UCAS fairs and conferences.
