Between December 8th and 21st a team of Selwyn students called our alumni and friends for a chat. Discussions between current students and alumni are often cherished by both parties and helps increase the sense of community at Selwyn. We have been overwhelmed by the response and generosity of alumni and friends; donations across the duration of this year’s campaign have now passed £200,000.

While the calling period is over, the campaign is still open and we would like to invite you to consider supporting:

  • The college’s world class teaching, by supporting our fellows to deliver the unique supervision system, and ensuring students continue to receive individual attention.
  • Student support, providing bursaries, subject-related and extracurricular funds to help our students get the best from their time here.
  • Selwyn’s General Purposes Fund, which is essential to the college’s resilience and ability to meet urgent, unexpected challenges as they come up.

To make your contribution, please click the donate button below.

If you have any questions about the campaign, or how to donate, please get in touch with us by email on development@sel.cam.ac.uk or call us at 01223 763 937.

I have an interest in political and strategic communication, and I’ve held internships with the Labour Party and a Westminster-based PR firm.
Aaryan
I'm Aaryan, a 4th year MMLer, studying German and Italian. I was on my year abroad last year, working for a football translation firm in Munich and then studying in Padua, north-east Italy. I've had a great time being active in Selwyn college life as a member of the JCR and Snowball committees in ENTs roles, as well as representing Selwyn in football, tennis and mixed netball. I'm looking forward to getting to know Selwyn's alumni!

I am Lea, a 2nd year HSPS student, specialising in Politics and International Relations. I am on the Women's Second Team for the Selwyn Boat Club, and I am raising money for Oddballs Foundation this Michaelmas by boxing in the Student Fight Night. I also started Selwyn Arts Society with a friend this year, to remain creative amidst the academic bustle. I am looking forward to the Christmas break as a time to de-stress and revise, although I will miss Cambridge dearly while I'm away!
