Salary: £24,941 per annum
Hours: 37.5 hours per week (exclusive of meal breaks)
Contract Type: Permanent, subject to six months’ probation
Selwyn College wishes to appoint a Hall Supervisor to be part of the Catering Department. Reporting to the College Butler, the Hall Supervisor is responsible for managing activities, training, supervising and developing staff to provide the best Front of House service, ensuring that the College maintains excellent customer service. A key responsibility of the job is the supervision of the day-to-day front of house operation to provide the best service to Fellows, students, guests, staff and visitors.
Applicants must have good problem-solving skills and the ability to manage a team, effectively. The role requires a high degree of professionalism and an understanding of quality service. To be successful in the role the ability to communicate effectively and appropriately with students, Fellows, staff and the many visitors to the College is essential.
