Selwyn College is excited to announce our 2019 Languages and Linguistics Residential for Year 12 Students studying at a UK School.
The residential will take place from Tuesday 2nd July – Thursday 4th July. All accommodation and meals will be provided by the College for the duration of their stay. We regret that we are unable to contribute to travel to and from the residential, but the residential itself is not charged for. The deadline for applications is Friday 14th June.

The Programme

Participants will take part in lectures, supervisions and other activities that are designed to provide an insight into the various Languages and Linguistics courses available at the University of Cambridge (including Asian and Middle Eastern Studies, Modern and Medieval Languages and Linguistics). Information about these courses can be found on the undergraduate study website. All sessions will be delivered by academic staff and will be designed to be interesting but also to challenge the participants academically.

The provisional programme and an overview of each academic session can be downloaded below.

There will also be sessions on the course at Cambridge and on support with the Admissions process, and the opportunity to meet current students.
