Cambridge Open Days – 2019

In conjunction with the University-wide general Open Days, Selwyn will be open on Thursday 4 July and Friday 5 July for informal visits and student-led tours between 9.30am and 4.30pm.  Please come to the main entrance of the College where you will be able to pick up a copy of our Prospectus and meet current Selwyn students.

Various teaching staff will be running subject talks and drop-in sessions at Selwyn on the mornings of both University Open Days.  Details will be published here as soon as they are finalised.

There is no need to book with the College to visit Selwyn on 4 and 5 July but booking is required for the main Faculty events at the Cambridge Open Days.  For more information about the Cambridge Open Days and to book a place, please visit the Cambridge Open Days website.

Is Accommodation available?

Some accommodation is available for people attending the Cambridge Open Days in July and our September Open Day.  Priority is given to those in our link areas who cannot travel to Cambridge and back home in the same day.  Accommodation requests should be made via email to the Admissions Officer on  We will confirm availability and other details as quickly as possible.

If I can’t come to an Open Day, can I visit Selwyn College at another time?

Yes, of course.  If you tell the Porters at the main entrance on Grange Road that you are a possible candidate for admission they will let you in. They will have copies of our Prospectus available.
