Open Days

Body
Participating in one of our Open Days is a great way to explore Selwyn and Cambridge, to find out more about our courses, and to meet some of our teachers and current students.

When are the next Open Days?

In conjunction with the University-wide Open Days, Selwyn will be open on Thursday 7 July 2022 and Friday 8 July 2022, between 9:30am and 4:30pm. These Open Days will be aimed at students who are considering making an application to Cambridge in October 2022 for entry in October 2023 or deferred entry in October 2024.

Please come to the College's main entrance on Grange Road to meet us and to pick up a Selwyn prospectus. From there, current students will be leading tours of the College, as part of which there'll be the opportunity to view some of our student accommodation.

On each day, between 10:00am and 11:00am, our Admissions Tutors will run a talk for prospective applicants, while at the same time our Senior Tutor and Bursar will talk to parents. There'll be the opportunity to ask questions during each of these sessions. If you wish to attend any of these talks, please sign up in advance using this form.
Some of our teaching staff will be running subject talks and drop-in sessions at Selwyn during the University Open Days.  The following sessions are currently planned -

If I can't come to an Open Day, can I visit Selwyn College at another time?

Yes, of course. If you're in Cambridge at any other time, just come to our Porters' Lodge at the College's main entrance on Grange Road and mention to the Porter on duty that you're thinking of applying to Selwyn. They will have copies of the College prospectus available, and will be able to give you advice on showing yourself around the College grounds.
