Making your donation

How much can I afford?

There are all sorts of calls upon our philanthropy and sometimes it's difficult to work out just how much we can spare for good causes. However, it's useful to remember that gifts to the college can be spread over a number of years and most UK donors will also qualify for Gift Aid. Here are some examples:

Example 1

To make a gift of £1,000, you could make four annual gifts of £200, which comes to £800. With GiftAid (at 25%), this would total £1,000.

However, by setting up setting up a Direct Debit, you can split this sum up over a number of years, to become 50 monthly donations of £16.00 each.

Example 2

To make a gift of £15,000 you could make four annual gifts of £3,000, which comes to £12,000. With GiftAid (at 25%), this would total £15,000.

However, by setting up setting up a Direct Debit, you can split this sum up over a number of years, to become 48 monthly donations of £250.00 each.

Setting up donations via Direct Debit is quick and secure – and you remain in control of all your payments. To discuss which donation method might be best for you, simply get in touch with us via the contact details below and we can talk through the various options.
