Selwyn College Annual Telephone Campaign

Each year, we invite a team of students to call the alumni and friends of Selwyn over a two-week period. This is a great opportunity for students to ask alumni about their time at Selwyn and share wisdom with the younger members of the College, and seek help for current and future generations with a gift that will support students. Previous student callers often note that they have received invaluable career advice, gained transferrable skills, and most importantly enjoyed their time speaking to alumni over the phone and learning more about Selwyn.

Whilst fundraising is one aspect of the annual telephone campaign, we recognise the value of phone conversations and reconnecting with Selwyn. Discussions between current students and alumni are often cherished by both parties, and we hope that this increases the sense of community at Selwyn. By choosing to run a phone campaign annually, we try to call as many people as possible.

Our most recent campaign was in December 2024. We focused our fundraising efforts on enhancing the student experience at Selwyn and ensuring that we can keep up with the rising costs of offering a world-class education. To learn more, navigate to our past campaigns section below.
