MSt Alumni Lunch on Saturday, 19 July 2025
MSt courses at Cambridge University have been one of the great success stories of recent years. They have allowed thousands of individuals to undertake stimulating and challenging courses of advanced study in a wide range of subjects, benefiting from top class teaching and being part of one of the world’s greatest universities. MSt students are amongst the most diverse to attend Cambridge - but they tend to be mature, highly motivated and many are already in the midst of successful careers before they embark on their MSt course. All of which means that MSt alumni now form a rich and important part of the wider Selwyn alumni community.
It's with great pleasure therefore that we can announce our first reunion specifically for Selwyn’s MSt alumni. We would like to invite you and a guest to return to Selwyn on Saturday, 19 July for a drinks reception and lunch. Later in the day you are welcome to stay and join in the college’s annual Garden Party and Family Day. Selwyn Fellows associated with the MSt courses as Directors of Studies will also be invited, and I’m pleased to say that Dr David Smith and Dr Lotte Reinbold have already confirmed their availability to attend this reunion. We hope that many of you will be able to return to Selwyn, perhaps for the first time in many years, and enjoy the opportunity of catching up with the college and with each other.
Drinks will be served on Old Court lawn from 12.00pm and followed by lunch in Hall from 12.30pm. Following lunch, guests can join the annual Garden Party, explore the college’s newest buildings - including the Bartlam Library and the Quarry Whitehouse Auditorium - and take part in the various events organised throughout the afternoon until 5.00pm.
The dress code for the reunion and garden party is relaxed/casual.
Costs:
Drinks and Lunch: £25 per head for two courses, including wine.
Recent reunions for other alumni who studied at Selwyn have been very popular and we hope that many MSt alumni will be able to join us.
