Salary: £47,000 - £51,000 pa pro rata (depending on experience)

Hours: part-time 0.6 FTE - 0.8 FTE (FTE 37.5-hour week)

Contract Type: Permanent, subject to probationary period

 

Selwyn College is seeking a Head of Communications, following the retirement of our current Master who has overseen college communications for over a decade. The Head of Communications will be one of the College’s senior roles, responsible for our communications strategy and supporting its delivery across the College. Reporting to our new Master and working closely with other senior college officers, this newly created role will offer a unique opportunity to influence and deliver communications across all facets of college life. You will work with us to evolve our engagement with the outside world via multiple different methods including; publications, social media, and the college website. 


We are looking for a self-motivated individual who is passionate about communication and is adept at liaising with and influencing the wider institution around them. You will have a proven track record in similar communications roles, and strong technical skills, combined with the ability to enthuse and engage with a wide audience.
