It's A Level results time and you will have questions. Most are answered below so please read through, as it's unlikely you'll need to call the college.
If you have a conditional offer of a place at Selwyn College and have met all your offer conditions, congratulations! There is no need for you to contact us. Your confirmation will be on UCAS Hub shortly. We will also email you with information about joining Selwyn College. If you wish to browse, look at our admissions page.
If you have narrowly missed the offer, please be patient. Please send us the breakdown of your results and the relevant grade boundaries, which your school can give you, to admissions@sel.cam.ac.uk as soon as possible. This will help us to finalise decisions and we will be in touch with you as quickly as we can.
Reconsideration: Only students who applied in October 2025, and who have already been contacted by the University as potentially eligible for reconsideration, may now be reassessed. Please see the University reconsideration pages.
If you did not receive an offer from Selwyn College this year, we cannot consider applications at this time. Please do not contact the college. Like all University of Cambridge colleges, Selwyn does not take part in clearing.
If you have strong examination results and are not eligible for August reconsideration, you may wish to apply for entry in October 2027. If so, you need to apply by the 15 October 2026. See the University’s application pages.
