Professor Janet O’Sullivan, Vice Master of Selwyn College and Professor of Private Law at the University of Cambridge, is hosting a cocktail reception for alumni and friends of Selwyn at the Duomo Ristorante, 30 Victoria St, CHIJMES, Singapore 187996, on Wednesday 9 April, 6.00pm – 7.30pm.
Details for the restaurant can be found here.
Professor O’Sullivan, who is visiting as a guest of the National University of Singapore, would like to take this opportunity to meet up with Selwyn alumni and friends who live or work in Singapore. It’s been a few years since Janet’s last visit and she is looking forward to renewing old acquaintances, catching up with former students and meeting your own guests. Although principally a social occasion, Janet will be making some remarks at approximately 6.45pm.
As you may have gathered from recent Selwyn news, the college has been busy recently, not least in electing its new Master – Suzanne Raine – who will join us in October upon the retirement of Roger Mosey. There’s been plenty of other changes and successes at Selwyn in recent years and we know that Janet will be pleased to provide an update and answer any questions that you might have. She will also be happy to talk about the admissions process for international students who are hoping to come to Cambridge for either undergraduate or postgraduate study.
There is no charge and you are welcome to bring a guest. Please rsvp to Melanie Cousins, at alumni-offfice@sel.cam.ac.uk.
Places are limited so please respond in good time should you wish to join Janet and other Selwyn guests next month.
