Hello! My name is Amelia and I am currently in my third year studying Chemistry. I have loved being involved in Selwyn's Natural Sciences Society as both social secretary and now president. I also adore art, design, and anything creative. I am really looking forward to connecting with Selwyn alumni about their careers and interests!

Hello! My name is Alex and I am taking part in the telephone campaign because I would like to contribute to the college's efforts in supporting students and their development. Selwyn has helped me a lot, from providing me with support during a sporting injury to showing me the breadth of funds available for dissertation travel later this year. I am very excited to continue and expand these ways of endorsing student success.

Hi, my name is Jack, and I am a first-year PhD student from Manchester researching volcanic ash forecasting in collaboration with the Met Office. I love football (especially Manchester City) and I am an avid cyclist, pool, and darts player. At its heart, the call campaign raises funds to offer support and opportunities for less-advantaged Selwyn students; not only does this embody the values that Selwyn College was founded upon, but as a first-generation student from a working-class background, it is a cause that I am very passionate about.

Hello, my name is Vaneeza. I'm a 2nd Year Law Student here at Selwyn, and I'm from Surrey.
I've absolutely loved my time at Selwyn so far, and I'm excited to participate in the telephone campaign. I'm looking forward to talking with previous alumni and learning more about life after Selwyn and how their experiences here later shaped their professional and personal journeys.
I'm passionate about supporting the college in giving opportunities to both current and future generations of students. I understand the significance of the bursary and would love to contribute to its impact in the future!

I am a Police Officer for West Midlands Police who is currently studying the MSt Applied Criminology and Police Management. I want to take part in this year’s campaign as it is an incredible chance to give back to my college which has provided me with opportunities, experiences and memories of a lifetime.

Hi, my name is Thomas, I'm a 3rd year undergraduate reading Human, Social and Political Sciences, and I'm looking forward to participating in the college's telephone fundraiser this year. I was drawn to the role as I have really enjoyed being part of college life in my time at Cambridge so far, and I can see that the great work of the college, from widening participation to decarbonisation, is driven by charitable donations. I'm looking forward to spending time in Selwyn closer to Christmas and getting to engage with Selwyn's alumni.

I am a PhD student at the Faculty of History. Originally from California, I have come to feel very much at home in Cambridge thanks to the community at Selwyn. The College has provided me with many great opportunities, especially in support of my academic pursuits, and I am eager to give back to Selwyn by working on the phone campaign.

My name is Wiktoria Mól and I'm currently doing the MPhil in European, Latin American, and Comparative Literatures and Cultures (I just call it Comparative Literature) at Selwyn. I also did my undergrad at this college, in Modern and Medieval Languages. As I've spent quite a bit of time here, it would be interesting to talk to the alumni and get to know what college life was like before I arrived at Selwyn, as well as contribute to raising the funding necessary for future students. Therefore, taking part in the telephone campaign would be a perfect way to combine both.

I am very happy to be at Selwyn, and I try to make a difference in the college community. Highlights of my time here have been my role as Selwyn Snowball Treasurer, as well as participating in the University Challenge Finals.
