As part of the assessment process most applicants will be required to take a subject-specific written admissions assessment, either with pre-registration required or not . You may also be asked to submit written work in advance of the interviews.

Applicants for the following subjects will be asked to take a written assessment which does not require pre-registration.

• Asian & Middle Eastern Studies (European language applicants only)
• Classics
• Design
• English
• History and Modern Languages
• Linguistics
• Modern and Medieval Languages
• Music
• Philosophy
• Psychological and Behavioural Sciences
