The Middle Combination Room (MCR), in Cripps Court, provides a number of services for the student body. It provides an informal space for members to relax, read the free daily newspapers, watch tv, and relax. There is also a University network telephone which, although blocked for outside calls, can be used to call any other network number.
MCR refers to the representative body for postgraduates in the College whose committee members sit on the Governing Body and the College Council as well as College committees. The term is also used as a shorthand for those students who form the membership of the postgraduate community. For more information, please refer to the MCR web pages.
