Services for outside bodies

During student vacations, Selwyn offers facilities for conferences, functions, meetings and bed and breakfast which may be booked by alumni, external organisations and individuals.

Course content

Details of the subjects that may be studied by Selwyn students are available on the Admissions section of the College website.

Welfare and counselling

Information concerning student welfare and counselling provision is given in both Undergraduate and Graduate student guides. Students are also able to approach their Tutor and the College Chaplain for pastoral support.

Health (including medical services)

Information concerning the College Nurse and medical services available to students is provided in the student guide.

Careers

Selwyn’s Careers Tutor provides advice for students. Advice is also available from College Tutors. Students may also take advantage of the facilities of the University Careers Service.

Chaplaincy services

The College Chaplain offers spiritual and pastoral support for all members of the College community regardless of their religious beliefs.

Services for which the College is entitled to recover a fee, together with those fees

The College's activities are funded from academic fees and charges (including tuition fees), charges for student residences and catering, income from conferences and bed and breakfast facilities, investments, donations and bequests. See the Annual Report and Accounts for details.

Sports and recreational services

Selwyn has a sportsground at Fulbrooke Road which is shared with King’s, Queens’ and Robinson Colleges.

Selwyn shares its Boathouse with King’s and Churchill Colleges and the Leys School. The Selwyn Boat Club welcomes male and female beginners and experienced rowers.

Students may use the College Gym free of charge after completing an induction process.

Museums, libraries, special collections and archives

There is no museum at Selwyn College, but some artefacts relating to the College's history are held in the College Archives.

Advice and guidance

Advice and guidance to current students is available on the Personal welfare and pastoral support section of the College website. The Porters' Lodge provides advice on security and practical matters, particularly out of office hours.
